Rurouni Kenshin
Kenshin Himora and Miyamoto Musashi are two great names in the world of Samurai and everybody loves them especially in the country where these two names are celebrated as their favorite Swordsmen.  If these two names would end up in a duel who do you think would win?  With their amazing sword techniques they
would able to dodge every attack and for sure could hit a deadly blow to each other. Kenshin uses his trademark the Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū ("Flying Heaven Honorable Sword Style"), a fictional ancient sword art which most Japanese would say  based on Battōjutsu. On the other hand Musashi is the founder and master of  Hyōhō Niten Ichi-ryū or Niten-ryū style.  Well, the difference is very simple Kenshin's technique is fictional while Musashi is real, but let's say if both would end up in a duel, Kenshin's technique is fast while Musashi is precision and deadly. It is really hard to compare a real sword-style from a fictional one, but anyways with Kenshin's super speed and with the ability to study the enemy's movement he could match Musashi's Niten-ryu.  But Musashi is no ordinary swordsman his dedication to win a duel with superior and notable matches proved that  it would not be easy for Kenshin to beat him. Musashi is a very wise samurai, at the age of 16 he defeated a powerful swordsman and at that age he knew how to break the concentration and focus of his opponents during duels and what's amazing these opponents are master swordsmen.  The most famous duel that Musashi encountered and won was with the famous Sasaki Kojirō, who was known as "The Demon of the Western Provinces", and I think the Sojiro in Samurai X is based on the master swordsman, Kojiro.  Kojiro was a famous samurai during his time he used odachi ( a long sword) but in sword duel  Musashi was able to finish him in a single blow by just a wooden sword.  On the other hand Kenshin Himura most of his duels ended by using his final sword technique, which we believed as the most powerful in his arsenal, but his real ability, the nickname "Battosai" would only surface once he is badly hurt or when his love ones are being used hostages by his opponents.  It is opposite to Musashi, Musashi ended most of his duels in short period of  time and most of it without any scratch on his part. So I would say  the only way Musashi to win the battle with Kenshin is by making Kenshin happy, because once Kenshin is mad and turn into a Battosai the Slasher, I don't think Musashi can beat him in a single blow.
