Valkyrie is about the July 20 plot in 1944 by German army officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler and to use the Operation Valkyrie an emergency plan to take control of Germany. Tom Cruise played the role of Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, who acted as the key to the Operation Valkyrie. The film is worth to watch great acting by most of the actors in the Movie, a superb drama for a thriller movie.

This is another World War II film that shows the life and struggle of Oskar Schindler, a German businessman who saved the lives of more than a thousand mostly Polish-Jewish refugees during the Holocaust of World War II. The film is in black and white so that nudity could not hamper your viewing. This is one of the movies that proved Liam Neeson is an excellent actor.

Patton is a 1970 American biographical film about U.S. General George S. Patton. It is about the great General's exploits in Europe after D-Day. Superb Tank battles you would see upon watching the film and the best is the performance of George Scott as Patton.

In 2002, I was so reluctant to watch the film The Pianist, I thought It was another musical movie like the sound of music. But on the 75th Academy Awards this movie took the finest citations, including Best Actor to Andrian Brody. So after 3 years I watched this movie to answer my curiosity and yes, it's a very wonderful movie -- It is indeed a Best Picture movie. The Pianist is a story of Jewish-Polish musician Władysław Szpilman, who fought his way to survive in the outskirts of the extermination facility and the hard labor during World War II.

Gandhi is a story on the life of Mahatma Gandhi, who led the nonviolent resistance movement against British colonial rule in India. In this movie you will witness his struggle to have an Independent India. It is a wonderful and touching movie worth to watch.
